Lighting Upgrades

Everything Cobalt carries a few lighting upgrades for the 05+ Chevrolet Cobalt. We offer head light replacements that will convert your single bulb halogen head lamps to twin projector style. Our projector head lights also feature the popular LED halo rings that accent the projector housings with a circle of light. In addition to head light replacements we also offer HID conversion kits that will convert your stock halogen bulbs to true high intensity discharge formats as used on newer luxury vehicles.

One of the most popular modifications being done to new vehicles today is replacing the stock tail lights with restyled aftermarket versions. We are happy to announce we are now carrying red LED tail lights for the 05+ Cobalt and look for more applications to become available soon.

HID vs. Halogen Technologies

HID lighting improves durability by 10 times as road vibrations can cause damage to halogen filament, but there is nothing to break inside HID bulb. These light sources also produce a blue-white light that is safer because it is closer to natural daylight. The color temperature is more than 5000K compared to 2300K for halogen. The light output from a 35W HID Xenon lamp is 300% more light than a 55W halogen bulb. The HID Xenon system will also consume much less power from your vehicles electrical system and generate much less heat during operation.

These popular projector head lights replace your factory head lamp assemblies. The benefit with projector head lamps is increased lighting output as well as a touch of elegant European style. The projectors are accented by the stylish halo rings which glow with a circle of light around the projector produced by an LED mounted inside the halo ring. We offer these head lights in both Black and Chrome versions to best meet your personal preference.
